A Time to Harvest

The harvest is truly plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into the harvest. These were the words of Jesus. May I ask you a question? If you are a believer in Christ, are you praying, regularly, to the Lord of the harvest? How desperate the situation! Isn't it hard to imagine that 150,000 people are dying every day? And that most of them are tragically headed for what Jesus calls the Furnace of Fire? Oh, that He would grant all of us an overwhelming yearning for the lost to be saved!

Last Friday night, at Baltimore's Inner Harbor, three families from our team (including my family of 11) joyfully labored in the harvest. Wow! We reached so many people who didn't have a clue. One couple, Eric and his girlfriend, listened intently as we proclaimed the law, righteousness, judgment, and the glorious gospel of salvation. We knew their hearts were reached and that they were left with much to think about. So many, like Eric, are in the valley of decision today. They desperately need to hear the truth of the gospel. Can you hear the call of the Savior to be one of His laborers? Time is short. Please respond to the call!
